Unless otherwise noted, all equipment will be provided with a 90 or 180 day, limited warranty, on a parts exchange basis. The warranty covers only work done by Questar Products and does not cover damage or malfunction due to shipping, improper installation, operation, or maintenance, non-standard applications, or OEM design.

Modifications to any equipment will void the warranty. In some cases for the warranty to be valid, the buyer is requested to (1) inspect and accept the equipment prior to delivery, and/or (2) accept the on-site installation option. Free telephone technical support for the life of the warranty is included.

EQUIPMENT BUY OFF:

The acceptance procedure will consist of full, functional testing on standard industry material. If a specific product demonstration is requested, buyer will need to provide all necessary materials in advance. Questar will review for feasibility.

BASIC REBUILDING PROCESS:

All equipment will be fully refurbished to be in excellent operating condition.
All critical systems will be disassembled, cleaned, repaired and re-adjusted, as required. This includes the X/Y table and bond head. (Note: Certain assemblies, such as V-theta, are OEM factory set, and cannot be fully dissembled.)
Excessively worn, or marginal components will be repaired or replaced.
All major sheet metal will be repainted, and minor areas will be cleaned and touched up, as needed.
Quality assurance testing will be performed prior to shipment. All systems will be tested, and an appropriate number of wires will be successfully bonded. QA data will be shipped with the machine.
